INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Let's Begin Your Journey

Deciding to begin (or continue) your therapy journey can be a difficult decision. “Do I need it..what if it doesn’t help anything…I don’t want to have to start over again” These are all things that may be running through your mind and that’s completely normal. Everyone’s level of readiness for therapy is different. If you’re at the place where you’ve been able to deal with a certain level of discomfort (like a lot of it) and you just can’t deal anymore, you’ve come to the right place.

The therapy process can look like this: I offer a free 15-minute, virtual consultation to explore your therapy goals and ensure we’re a good fit for each other. You’ll fill out some questionnaires so I can learn more about you. Then we’ll meet for an initial intake session to discuss what therapy can look like for you. If you’re a parent looking for treatment for your child/teen, I meet with both the child and parent(s) separately in our initial consultation. In the initial intake I meet with your teen and you separately then together, and throughout our therapy journey I offer parent and family sessions to help the family learn about and support the teen while assisting the teen in acclimating back into an even more supportive environment.
